We welcome all coaches & football technical staff.

Who meet the membership criteria to join the expanding community of practice within professional football. As a member of the LCA, you will become part of a professional network of diverse, progressive and energetic individuals that will allow you to continue to drive development and excellence throughout the game.

Membership Criteria
Key TERMINOLOGY.

DOMESTIC PROFESSIONAL GAME

Includes all current clubs in the Premier League, EFL, Women’s Super League and Women’s Championship, and professional game partners

FOOTBALL TECHNICAL ROLE

Includes coaching, scouting, analysis, and strategic roles at first-team and academy levels

RECENTLY EMPLOYED

Anyone employed within the past 5 years

Individuals are automatically entitled to join the LCA if they meet one of the
following criteria:
Currently employed full-time in the domestic professional game in a Football Technical Role
Recently employed full-time in the domestic professional game in a Football Technical Role with
a minimum up to date, accredited English FA UEFA B licence or Advanced Principles of Talent Identification
Currently employed full-time in an overseas professional league in a Football Technical Role with a minimum up to date, accredited English FA UEFA B licence or Advanced Principles of Talent Identification
Individuals that do not meet the criteria above may be eligible for discretionary LCA membership if they meet one of the following criteria:
Employed part-time in the domestic professional game with a minimum up to date, accredited English FA UEFA B licence, Advanced Principles of Talent Identification, or working towards the minimum qualifications with the endorsement of your club
Employed full-time in National League football in a Football Technical Role with a minimum up to date, accredited English FA UEFA B licence or Advanced Principles of Talent Identification
Currently employed full-time in an overseas professional league in a Football Technical Role with a minimum up to date, accredited equivalent UEFA B licence or Advanced Principles of Talent Identification and where LCA has a formal relationship with the overseas stakeholder
Such other persons identified by the LCA Board, as persons who can contribute to the aims and objectives of the Association, so long as such person(s) fulfil the technical conditions above

Annual Subscription

  • Annual Subscription: £200
  • Membership Term: 1st July - 30th June (in line with the domestic football season)
  • Pro-rata Rate: New members will pay a pro-rata rate upon joining the LCA, to the 30th June, which will be communicated upon approval of application.
  • New members joining after 1st April will be asked to pay the pro-rata rate plus the following year subscription.
